Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview:

Chapin Pet Lodge is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to support daily front desk operations and provide excellent customer service to all of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all clients in a welcoming and professional manner

  • Answer incoming calls and return messages promptly

  • Schedule and manage boarding reservations and appointments

  • Maintain accurate client and pet records

  • Check pets in and out upon arrival and departure

  • Communicate clearly with staff to ensure proper care instructions are followed

  • Handle general front desk tasks and keep the reception area clean and organized

  • Other tasks as assigned

Schedule & Availability:

  • Full time: 4 weekdays plus every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the pet care industry is a plus

  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Must be reliable and punctual

Work Environment:
This position involves frequent interaction with clients, handling a busy phone line, and working in an environment with dogs and cats.
