Kennel Technician

Job Overview:

Chapin Pet Lodge is seeking reliable and compassionate Kennel Technicians to join our team. This role is essential in providing daily care for boarding pets while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Ideal candidates are hardworking, attentive, and enjoy working with animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pet boarding area

  • Feed and provide fresh water to dogs and cats 

  • Walk dogs and provide playtime activities

  • Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns

  • Administer medications as directed

  • Other tasks as assigned

​

Schedule & Availability:

  • Morning Shift: 7:15 AM – 1:00 PM

  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Hours may vary based on number of pets 

  • Weekend and holiday availability required!

​

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with animals is a preferred but not required

  • Ability to work in a physically active environment

  • Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

​

Work Environment:
This position involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors.
